(10 Month Evening Program)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach and supervise students in the cosmetology program. Provide differentiated instruction to students at different levels, both in academic and performance skills. Prepare students for either college or entry-level work in the cosmetology field.
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current cosmetology license.
Working knowledge of modern cosmetology practices.
Anatomy, safety/sanitation including protocol to protect against blood-borne pathogens, ethics, hairstyling, cutting, coloring, setting, perming, conditioning treatments, makeup, skin care, facials, manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, and wraps.
Preference is given to those with cosmetology teaching/mentoring experience.
