**Responsibilities**
As an Operating Room Nurse you will provide directo patient care through assessment, analysis, development and evaluation of effective nursing interventions/actions.
Essential Duties:
Provides information and instruction to patient, family and/or significant other.
Performs in-depth patient assessments.
Provides patient education in coughing and deep breathing. Begins post-op education.
Demonstrates airway management.
Shift: 6:45am - 5:15pm
Core Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri
This position requires on call with a 30 minute response time.
**Qualifications**
License/Certifications:
State of Oregon RN License
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire
ACLS withing 6 months of hire
AORN PeriOp 101 within 6 months of hire
CNOR preferred
Experience:
2 years Operating Room experience in an acute care setting
1 year of Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgery experience and completion of AORN Peri-Op 101 will also be considered
Scurbbing and Ciculating experience preferred
**Pay Range**
$40.61 - $56.74 /hour
