60 bed Acute Care, full service facility
Fully accredited by the Joint Commission and accredited Chest Pain Center by ACC Accreditation Services, the accrediting arm of the American College of Cardiology
Features 24 hr Emergency Dept
Round the clock imaging/lab services
Joint replacement Institute, ICU, Senior Behavioral Health Services unit
Provides other services such as Surgical Services, Family birthing center, Endoscopy, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardio Pulmonary services, and Therapy services.
In addition, this hospital offers specialty radiation oncology services in the H. R. Hoover, MD, Cancer center and advanced wound treatment at the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center.
Duties/Responsibilities
Welcome members upon arrival and help them feel safe and at home, navigating through a seamless and clear check-in process
Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for a multi-disciplinary care team
Update member information in the electronic medical records system
Request medical records and upload documentation to electronic medical records system
Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure
Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment, ensuring needs and/or changing in patient conditions are reported to PCP, specialists, and/or other clinical personnel
Perform all tasks with a hyper focus on patient experience, including answering of incoming calls and processing of patient phone messages, including returning calls; routing calls to other team members as appropriate; and calling patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician
Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures and other first aid procedures; use CPR skills when necessary, all under physician supervision
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and conduct accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times
Assist with center events, as needed
Required Skills/Abilities
Acute Care/Med Surg experience preferred
Would be open to CNA's in other niches, however, but would need solid transferrable skills
Have CNA license (pref CNA 2 license
Experience working in med surg (preferred)
Someone who wants to work in a dept within this hospital- someone committed to staying in Med/Surg
BLS Cert
Open to LTC, Hospice, or other background
Experience working with diverse patient populations
Patient population- 11:1 patient ratio

**Pay Details:** $19.69 to $26.50 per hour
