Position Summary:
Responsible for the movement and disposal of medical waste, including potentially infectious waste as well as general waste, from various collection points until its final removal from the facility.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS None specified CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None Specified EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS None specified SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Able to understand the functions and operate the equipment that is part of the med waste process. Understand the purpose and properly use PPE.
Essential Functions:
Assist in med waste transporting as needed per proper handling instructions.
Completes paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Identifies equipment malfunction in emergency situations, power failure, water leaks, etc, and notifies 1-up.
Cleans equipment and surrounding area.
Maintains equipment records and other documents as required by law.
