**Schedule:**

40 hours per week

This position would have oversight over Urgent Care East and Urgent Care West.

Clinic hours are 8am-8pm 7 days a week.

**Responsibilities**

Supervise nursing activities and resources within clinical specialty or department under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within scope of license in a clinic or practice setting.

Coordinate staff scheduling and educational/development activities.

Identify and contribute to resolution affecting the delivery of patient care. Perform quality assurance studies and assist with implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives.

Serve as resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.

Monitor departmental compliance requirements.

Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

**Additional Preferences**

Previous supervisory and urgent care experience preferred.
