Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic - Pulmonary Medicine

World-renowned specialists in Cleveland Clinic Florida's Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine treat patients with disorders relating to the lungs, breathing and sleep.
**A caregiver in this position works 7:30/8:00AM - 5:00/5:30PM.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care to patients.
Administer medication.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.
Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
Follow Code Blue protocol.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge of infection control practices.
Experience with technology.
Computer literacy.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
One year of clinical experience.
