**Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Emergency Department (ED)**

-Fast-paced, high volume emergency department is looking for top skilled registered nurses. Is that you?-

**Work location:** Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N. Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75053

**Work hours:** Full Time Mids; 3 Shifts per week; 11:00am - 11:00pm, Rotating weekends and holiday requirements

**Here's What You Need:**

· LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire required

· 6 months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR residency program required

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac life Support prior to providing independent patient are and maintained quarterly required

· Previous LVN experience in an acute care setting helpful

**What You Will Do:**

· Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

· Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines.

· Serves as patient advocate

· Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and unlicensed assistive personnel.

· In collaboration with RN incorporates evidence-based practice and research to monitor and continuously impact outcomes

· Individualizes care measures to reflect specific patient population. Performs technical procedures safely, proficiently.
