Description
**Position Summary:**
Responsible for the direct and indirect patient care, immunizations, referrals and maintaining nursing sills as deemed by the Michigan Board of Nursing. Works with minimal supervision and under the direction of the physician or practitioner.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**
Performs basic patient care procedures and techniques competently which includes the administering of medication.
Organizes client patient care effectively.
Identifies patient needs and takes appropriate action. Communicates changes and condition to provider.
Promotes good multi-disciplinary communication.
Performs patient care activities such as, talking and recording of vital signs, immunizations, blood draws, collects specimens and records.
**Required:**
Licensed to practice as an LPN in the State of Michigan
Graduate of accredited LPN program
Documentation of medication administration course
