Opened in 2020, the **Pillars of Prospect Park** is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, make up this vibrant community and also encompasses an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. We are looking for a **Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN** to join our senior assisted living team in Minneapolis, MN. This position performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with home care/assisted living regulations and follow established policies and procedures. Team includes RN and Resident Assistant caregivers, activities, culinary, and more. Nursing schedule includes;

32 hours every two weeks ; part time

Includes every other weekend and holiday

Provides professional nursing care

Carries out proper charting practices and prodedure

Assists RN in adherence to medication administration procedures

Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff

Maintains current observation and documentation of tenant/resident health status

**Required:**

Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree: **LPN**

LPN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

**BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice**

Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone & fax machine

**Preferred:**

One to three years of previous experience

Proficient in Eldermark computer documentation software
