InGenesis is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to work with our client in Comstock, NY. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to individuals and provide support to Registered Nurses. Apply today and we'll reach out to answer any questions you may have! Job Duties - Observe, identify and document any changes, negative or positive in the condition of the incarcerated individual - Promptly report any changes to an RN to facilitate nursing care plans - Demonstrate knowledge of basic nursing skills within the framework of case findings, health teaching, counseling and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. - Administer treatment and medications within established guidelines and as prescribed by licensed health care provider - Follow directions given by the facility RNs, a supervising RN or a primary care provider Qualifications - LPN must be licensed in New York State - Valid, current CPR certification - Minimum of one year work experience post licensure - Must have experience in fast paced working environments, with medication administration - Must know how to obtain a complete set of vital signs, gather information to report accurately to an RN - Must be able to follow directions given by the facility RNs, a supervising RN or a primary care provider - Must arrive on time to their scheduled shift - Must be able to complete their assigned work duties in a timely manner - Must possess organizational skills, and work autonomously under an RN. Shifts: 6a-2p, 2p-10p *Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
