Description

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

As a member of the patient care team, you will assist providers and medical staff with daily office duties including but not limited to: patient triage, responding to patient messages, referrals, scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, etc. You will conduct patient history intake and preparation, collect and manage lab data, educate patients and provide follow-up steps, conduct advanced telephone triage functions, and participate in research activities. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate records and documentation, monitor and order supplies, perform quality assurance (QA) functions as directed, and assist with the orientation and training of new personnel and clinical staff.

Hard Skills

LPN License

2+ years cardiology experience

Exercise science or Exercise physiology experience

Ability to perform and interpret EKGs

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Busy office with team/family-oriented staff members. A lot of the patients are of the older population. Can get very busy at times but slower on some days. Locations in Wallingford, Glastonbury. Schedule: Monday-Friday - Must be flexible from 7:30am-5:00pm.
