Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IR RN to join a team at a local hospital in DC. This person will be responsible for patient assessment, pre and intra procedural care of patients undergoing invasive procedures or sedation in the Department of Radiology. This is accomplished according to an established plan of care, under the direction of the Director of Operations and Radiology Nurse Coordinator in charge of Nursing who is a licensed Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Skills and Requirements

- License as a RN in the District of Columbia required.

- BLS required.

- ACLS required within 6 months

- 1-2 Years experience required (preferable ICU, IR, ED, or PACU.)

- Experience with cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition, invasive pressure monitoring, conscious sedation, emergency care, and comprehensive assessment skills, preferred. - PALS certification preferred. null
