Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Day and Overnight shifts available - 7:30am-3:30pm, OR 11:30pm-7:30am
Location: Washington Heights, NY (Free parking garage available on site!)
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time schedules available!
Work Environment:
The facility has a 705 capacity and offers rehabilitation and skilled nursing services. It is committed to providing quality care and supporting health and independence for individuals requiring short or long-term care.
Responsibilities:
Checking and monitoring vital signs and accurately recording in patient's charts
Reminding patients to take medications and other nutritional supplements
Assisting with daily living activities to ensure patients are well taken care of
Helping patients with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and assisting with bathing
Closely monitoring and recording food intake
Skills & Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
NYS Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
Active BLS/CPR Certification
Excellent oral communication skills when interacting with other health professionals in the presence of patients (bedside manner)
Ability to endure high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
