Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregons scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. **Responsibilities**
As an Educator in the Family Birth Place you are responsible for the education needs of patients.
**Essential Duties:**
Coordinates and implements pre-established antepartum classess and postpartum education for patients
Teaches childbirth education classes.
Completes lactation rounding on patients.
Participates in Sweet Success classes for diabetic patients.
Identifies needs and implements new classess and activities.
Evaluates effectiveness of classes.
**Shift:** 8am - 4:30pm
**Core Schedule:** Mon, Tue, Wed
**Qualifications**
**License/Certifications:**
RN license issued by the state of Oregon
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
ACLS
NRP Instructor within 1 year of hire
Current Oregon Drivers License
**Experience:**
1000 hours within the last 24 months as an RN in OB/Gyn OR an RN with 5 years labor and delivery experience within the last 8 years
Instructor experience
**Pay Range**
$40.61 - $56.74 /hour
