$92,150 - $147,420

**Description**

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is seeking a licensed psychologist to join two of our specialty programs housed within the Department of Psychiatry's Collaborative Care and Wellness Division: the HEAL Collaborative, for patients who have experienced interpersonal violence or other trauma and victimization; and the Program for Mental Health and Gender Wellness, providing integrated behavioral health care for patients obtaining obstetrics and gynecology care. At URMC, faculty members are actively engaged in clinical work, scholarship and teaching, and the successful candidate will have opportunities for involvement with clinical supervision and research in addition to clinical work.

Responsibilities include working within the HEAL Collaborative to provide assessment, safety planning, short-term psychotherapy, collaboration, and referral to adult patients who have experienced interpersonal violence or other trauma and victimization. The person in this position is expected to grow into developing as an administrative leader for HEAL over time and will work closely with the HEAL director to grow the program. Additional responsibilities include offering clinical care within the Program for Mental Health and Gender Wellness, a clinical service integrated into an obstetrics and gynecology practice, including consultation, assessment, and psychotherapy for pregnant and non-pregnant patients who have mental health needs in close partnership with the multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must possess a Ph. D. or Psy. D. in psychology and be immediately eligible for licensure in New York. Demonstrated experience with trauma, intimate partner violence, and/or women's health required. Additionally, preferred candidates will have experience working in integrated care and in academic medicine. Senior Instructor $92,150 - $147,420

Assistant Professor $101,650 - $130,562

**Qualifications**

PhD or PsyD

Must be licensed in NYS as a psychologist prior to start

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
