Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room (RN) to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
Triage patients based on acuity and severity of illness or injury.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an emergency room setting.
BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association, required.
PALS certification through American Heart Associations, preferred.
Cerner experience, preferred
Covid-19 vaccine
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high-stress environment and handle multiple priorities.
