The Director of Nursing provides strategic leadership and administration for the Cardiac Cath Lab and Inpatient Services. Responsible for implementing True North, ensuring patient care, safety, and quality. The director promotes collaboration with key stakeholders, fosters professional communication, and drives strategic thinking. They are accountable for achieving MMC's goals through quality improvement, performance indicators, and team engagement. The director ensures appropriate scope of practice and collaborates with managers to improve processes, maintain safety and satisfaction, and achieve operational goals.

Oversees additional inpatient services and units including but not limited to: A4 Cardiac Telemetry, C4 Telemetry, and D5 Oncology

What We're Looking For:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of general nursing experience.

Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in management/leadership position required, direct report experience preferred

Effective change management and process improvement.

Understanding of healthcare finance and resource allocation.

Performance management and clear communication with stakeholders

Develop and evaluate data collection systems for nursing practices and patient care, modifying processes as needed.

Promote and maintain patient-centered outcomes that are culturally sensitive and inclusive.

Direct and evaluate patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to regulations and clinical guidelines.

Empower nurses to be accountable for patient outcomes, providing leadership in setting nursing practice standards.

Establish a culture of safety and report liability risks.
