Direct Support Professional - Day Services
Mozaic is looking for dedicated Caregivers, Health Aides, CNAs, or Direct Support Professionals who are passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities during daytime hours in non-residential settings. Our goal is to facilitate community integration, skill development, and promote independence. Direct Support Professionals at Mozaic are instrumental in fostering self-esteem and providing consistent, positive support, encouragement, and respect for the rights of individuals in both habilitation settings and the community.
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties:
These caregivers help individuals in upholding safe and healthy lifestyles within our community
Assist with transportation, going to appointments, and daily living activities
Follow guidelines, medications, and care plans accurately
Collaborate with other members of the support team, including families, healthcare professionals, and case managers, to ensure the overall well-being and quality of life of individuals with disabilities
Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals, and advocate for their rights and needs
Direct Support Professional Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field
Valid Driver's License
Direct Support Professional Hours:
Monday - Friday, hours vary with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
