Description
The Clinical Outcomes Specialist serves as a clinical expert in nursing to improve quality of care.
The Clinical Outcomes Specialist will:
Identifies quality and process improvements.
Leads and collaborates with the interprofessional team in planning delivery and evaluation of patient-focused care.
Coordinates and integrates care with the interprofessional team for a cohort of patients from admission through discharge.
Analyzes patient data and outcomes.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in a healthcare field.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree Quality.
Experience Required:
Five years clinical nursing experience to include three years of oncology nursing experience.
With preferred degree, three years of oncology nursing.
Licensure / Certification Required:
Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Certification in quality or specialty focused area.
