**General Summary**
The Manager of OR, Sterile Processing works under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services Operations. The Manager is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, implementing and controlling functions of the department. Collaboratively plans, implements, and evaluates health care measures aimed at optimal health care. The manager monitors performance and quality and ensures appropriate development and interpretation of Health Center policies and procedures. 5 years OR experience required. 2 years management experience preferred.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in business or health related field required.(Working towards degree will be considered) Management and analysis skills are necessary for the application of the management process (planning, organizing, directing, and implementing.)
Current registered nursing license in the state.
Current CPR certification and/or ACLS.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
5 years OR experience required. 2 years management experience preferred.
Working Conditions
Working conditions are generally good, little exposure to noise, dust, temperature and the like.

Reports to assigned Director.
