Responsible for administering and directing appropriate nursing interventions as prescribed by a qualified physician or mid-level practitioner. Responsible for effective communication and accurate documentation. Displays professional behavior in accordance with Nursing Code of Ethics and CHS philosophy of service.

Hours of Position:
Full-time, days, 40 hours/week; 5 - 8 hour shifts/week; start time is 7:30am
The Brachy therapy program has started. This position will be dedicated to this new program and will work to drive the program. Recording of instruments per patient use for infection control and performing pre admission testing as well as patient scheduling are involved in this role. Two days of the week will be spent in staffing for Brachy procedures. This position oversees 2 RNs in the Outpatient Infusion are as well as 2 RNs in Interventional Radiology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing the initial nursing assessment, communicating findings with the assigned physician or mid-level
- Assessing the wound stage and measurements, documenting care plans, evaluating the patient status in regards to desired outcomes
- Identifying patient care situations that require intervention
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives, providing education to the patient and/or caregiver, and serving as patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of care
- Collaborates as needed with other healthcare provides, Wound Care Center Providers, the Program Director and Medical Director regarding patient needs
- Performs other duties as required
