ATTENTION All GA CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS !!!!!!! We are recruiting clinicians with superior customer service skills, compassion and empthay to fill Direct Hire positions at one of Atlanta's premier Long-term Care Facilities. Join a team of professionals that assists with providing safe, age appropriate care to the residents by performing basic resident care functions (i. e., ADLs, ambulation, vital signs, approved technical procedures) and performs other duties deemed necessary to ensure the delivery of preferred care. What is required:
Completion of Certification of Nursing Assistant from an accredited school of Nursing required
Current Georgia Certificate of Nursing Assistant required
Current American Heart Association (BLS) required
Previously LTC in a Nursing Home or Rehab Facility (required)

Responsibilities
The CNA, under the supervision of a professional registered nurse, LPN, and/or physician is responsible for:
Providing age appropriate/culturally & ethnically sensitive care
Maintain a safe environment
Collect information
Communicate effectively
Utilize technology
Perform selected therapies as delegated
Advocate for the patient
Provide personal care
Assist with daily activities
Provide comfort measures and nourishments
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
manual lifting up to 60lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working weekends
