Description
**JOB SUMMARY:** Performs duties in direct and indirect patient care as assigned.
**DIRECT PATIENT CARE PROVIDED FOR:** Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population of patients in the department.
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**
Education:High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred, including ability to read, write and simple math. Basic Life Support Certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
Experience:Must be C. N. A. certified within four months of employment. Understanding or experience in health care helpful.
