**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
UTMB is expanding their Nephrology research program. This full-time academic research position offers a unique blend of research, teaching, and collaborative opportunities across multiple locations in South Houston & Galveston region.
We are seeking a Researcher who will conduct research within the Division of Nephrology.
You will publish high-impact work and compete for external grants. You will participate in department meetings and committee meetings, and other scholarly activities.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
MD degree or PhD.
We prefer a candidate with a robust research portfolio including a strong record of extramural funding.
