**Job Summary**

Support administration of Allied Health Education programs in the Department of Pathology such as internships and apprenticeships in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Science, Histotechnology, Pathologist's Assistant. Support planning and execution of internal educational events and community outreach events, support documentation for educational programs, and coordination of allied health visiting observers in the Department of Pathology.

**Responsibilities***

**Responsibilities - 80% Allied Health Education Support**

Event support (educational events such as CP Symposium, New Employee Orientation, Intern Interviews, School Visits, Community Outreach Events)

Reserve venues and rooms for events

Order and set up food for events,

Distribute communications about events

Assist with managing education sessions in the Cornerstone learning platform

Manage participant sign-in and credit for educational events

Assist with A/V for events

Assist with exhibiting at community outreach events, career fairs, Youth Summit, etc. (help move display items and set-up, interact with participants, etc.)

Moderate/Facilitate at New Employee Orientation and other educational events on both NCRC and main medical campus

Maintain documentation for PACE accredited educational events using CE Organizer

Maintain schedule of educational events

Assist with coordination of speakers for events such as CP Symposium

Point person for PRODIGY interest group program

**Other support**

Order supplies

Conduct tours of Pathology spaces at NCRC and UH, shuttle bus

Assist with intern/learner onboarding and documentation i. e. communication, badge, parking

Prepare educational materials for events

Assist with managing allied health visiting observers, meet them on site, show them around, documentation

Assist with documentation associated with registered apprenticeship program (documentation for Dept of Labor and grant funding agencies such as GoingPro)

Assist with administration of allied health training programs and trainees

Record meeting minutes

Assist with surveys of education program participants, build surveys, report results

Schedule meetings

Prepare communications for internal and external presentations

Respond to messages on Handshake (college recruiting app) and other social media platforms

Assist FISH! training, present at sessions, send follow up emails to participants

Submit content for Pathology Newsletter and other communication formats

Track and document projects and milestones

Other duties as assigned

**Responsibilities - 20% Medical Education/Training Program Support**

Manage CME for Pathology events such as New Frontiers, Forensic Conference, CP Symposium, etc.

Coordinate centralized CME management for Pathology offerings

Assist with trainee(resident/fellow) tours and interviews

Assist with medical education visiting observers

Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications***

Associate or bachelor's degree

3-5 years administration experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products and Google tools or a similar product and videoconferencing applications such as Zoom.

Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and positive service-oriented attitude.

Ability to exercise initiative, independent judgement, diplomacy, and confidentiality, and to work effectively independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.

Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of attention to details and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

**Desired Qualifications***

Event planning/support experience

Healthcare or medical laboratory related experience

**Additional Information**

Onsite (not remote) on both NCRC and main medical campus

Some travel to community outreach events

May require occasional weekend and evening support at events

**Background Screening**
