The Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System is seeking a full-time, dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) in North Little Rock, Arkansas.The Staff Psychologist will provide individual therapy, group therapy, assessment, case management and other psychological services as needed to Mental Health RRTP patients.
Key Responsibilities:
The RRTP Psychologist will diagnose mental disorders, conduct psychological or neuropsychological assessments, treat mental disorders through a variety of modalities, and provide adjunctive interventions for treatment of medical disorders. Among the modalities provided are individual, family, and group psychotherapies and other interventions such as behavioral health and community interventions. The RRTP Psychologist will consult with medical center staff on a wide variety of patient care issues. He/She may be involved in program evaluation, teaching, training, and research activities.
As a Psychologist in our RRTP, you will play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and comprehensive psychological services to Veterans dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including PTSD, substance use disorders, depression, and anxiety. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans, conduct psychological assessments, and offer both group and individual therapy.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a psychologist.
