The Memphis VA Medical Center, Ambulatory Care Clinic has an immediate opening for a warm and dynamic Optometrist. Located on the beautiful Bluffs of the Mississippi River, the Memphis VA Medical Center offers a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the art technology, as well as extensive education and research programs. It consists of one main campus and ten community-based outpatient clinics, servicing more than 250,000 Veterans that reside in a fifty-three-county, tri-state areas of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Highlights of this position include:
- Experience Based Salary $72,553 - $186,854
- Work Schedule: Mon-Fri: 7:30AM-4PM
- Annual Performance Bonus
- Possible $2K CME Reimbursement and Paid Time Off to attend (Must be Board Certified)
- Malpractice Liability Protection with tail coverage provided
Requirements:
- Approved Doctor of Optometry Degree
- Board Eligible/Board Certified
- Full and unrestricted license from ANY state
- US Citizenship (Non-Citizens may be considered in accordance with VHA Guidance)
- Be proficient in written and spoken use of the English language
