The VA Maryland Health Care System is currently seeking a Neurologist (Headache Medicine). The VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) is located in the heart of Baltimore, Maryland in a vibrant community with rich cultural attractions and convenient access to major cities.

The VAMHCS is a Level I tertiary multi-campus teaching facility affiliated with the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) and over 100 educational institutions. Located next to the University of Maryland Medical Center with a walkway connecting the two facilities, the medical center maintains an active affiliation with the University in the sharing of staff, resources, and technology. Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center is the acute medical and surgical care facility for the VAMHCS and offers a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and primary care services. As one of the most modern health care facilities in the country, the medical center offers veterans state-of-the-art medical technology, clinical services, and research programs. It is home to the world s first filmless radiology department, which allows health care providers to have nearly instant access to patient radiology images from anywhere in the facility and throughout the health care system.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Neurology with Headache Subspecialty training
  • Valid medical license
