Summary:

This role will collaborate with the engineering team to produce applications that are well performing, scalable, secure, and easy to maintain. Responsible for some technical planning, organizing and conducting technical projects in design and development. This role will stay abreast of new technologies in an ever changing and growing industry of technology and healthcare. The Mid-Level Software Engineer reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

This position is a part of our Advanced Metrics Systems.

Schedule: FT (40 hrs) Flexible Schedule.

This is a remote position and we are able to hire staff living in PA, MD, NJ, and GA. Must be able to travel to Mountville, PA (Lancaster County) and to client locations for meetings as needed. Wage Information:

$80,000 annually.

Job Description:

• Participate in requirements gathering.
• Collaborate with the team to produce software design and architecture.
• Can follow best practices to create clean, and efficient application and associated logic.
• Can write effective unit tests.
• Test deployment mechanisms using docker and Kubernetes (is applicable).
• Participate in code reviews and deep coding discussions.
• Follows secure coding practices in day to day work.
• Thorough understanding of Object Relational Mapping concepts such as EnityFramework and EntityFrameworkCore.
• Expertise in a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.
• Understanding of SOLID principals and dependency injections.
• Experience working in a relational database.
• Understanding the concept of the version controls.
• Understanding of various cloud concepts such as Azure and AWS.
• Experience in front-end technologies such as Angular and React is a plus.
• Container orchestration using docker-swarm and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Mobile App development is a plus. 
   

Qualifications:

This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field. Minimum three - five years of experience with object-oriented programming concepts in asp.net (c#), Web API, and SQL Server. Knowledge and familiarity with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and operational data security.

Additional requirements include:  

• Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings.
