• POSITION SUMMARY
  • Rehab Aides prepare patients and equipment for treatment. They administer treatment according to sources and procedures as directed by the therapist. Rehab Aides must strive to provide the highest possible level of care for the patient and work towards the goals of the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. High quality care and overall efficiency are essential components to this process.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education and Experience:
    • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • License/Certificates:
    • American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire.
  • Special Skills and Aptitudes:
    • Effective interpersonal relationship skills including good listening and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and appropriately.
    • Ability to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation.
    • Possesses high level of organizational and clerical skills.
    • Exercises good judgment, flexibility, creativity, and insight in problem solving.
    • Adjusts to stressful situations with confidence and good judgment.
• ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs physical therapy modalities and procedures as specified by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assists the therapists as requested.
  • Maintains adequate records and progress notes as designated. Completes daily billing.
  • Recognizes and reports changes in patient performance and response to treatment, and notifies the supervising therapist.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate Standards of Excellence when other duties are assigned.
