A Day in the Life of a CPAP Specialist
The CPAP Specialist orchestrates all facets of PAP equipment setup and patient education, ensuring individuals receive comprehensive instruction and support on their sleep therapy devices. Responsibilities include managing patient documentation and records accurately in the medical database, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance verifications. Challenges often involve staying updated with the latest sleep therapy technologies and adapting to individual patient needs effectively. Collaboration is key, as the role requires constant interaction with healthcare teams to provide optimized patient care. The work primarily involves office and clinic settings, with tasks structured around patient appointments and administrative documentation.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RCP, RPSGT, LPN, EMT or 2 years of DME experience

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
