As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, you will verify and fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter/verify orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; supervise pharmacy technicians; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
May also be asked to work at the Center for Behavioral Medicine in Kansas City, MO
Salary range: $55-$65 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for staff PTO or on an as needed basis up to 19 hours/week.
About the Facility: Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (NMPRC) is a 108-bed campus that has 6 cottages and 3 wings for patients. The NMPRC serves the western area of Missouri and provides long-term care for adults, 18 years old and over, who have persistent psychiatric conditions. NMPRC is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping in downtown St. Joseph. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Facility: The Center for Behavioral Medicine currently operates 65 adult acute beds and 25 adult residential beds. CBM operates three group homes in the community and serves the Greater Kansas City, Missouri area and surrounding counties with intensive and specialized behavioral health treatments. The Center focuses its services on bridging the gap between physical and behavioral medicine with an emphasis on wellness. The Center provides a therapeutic approach to recovery that assists individuals to progress regardless of their limitations or symptoms. CBM utilizes evidence based diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in a holistic approach to patient treatment. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm. The Pharmacy utilizes MetaCare Solutions software and the Parata ATP2 repackaging and InspectRx machines.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing
- Recent retail, long-term care, or hospital pharmacy experience required (hospital experience is a plus)
- PGY2 Psychiatric Residency completion preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months - provided free onsite
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th - provided free onsite
- COVID Vaccine-Full
