Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem   Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital Orem, UT   As a per diem, nonexemptCPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. Requires the ability to communicate effectively with doctors and nursing staff, and have a good working and trusting relationship with them.   Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for PTO and/or on an as needed basis and may include on-call nights and weekends. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm (no weekends).    About the Hospital:  Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital is licensed for 81 beds and provides treatment for adolescents and adults, including geriatric adults.  Set in a scenic setting near Sundance, Provo Canyon provides a highly structured, safe environment that enables patients to make positive changes in their lives. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.   About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is located at the Orem facility. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm (no weekends) and utilizes HCS (CPOE).    Required Qualifications: 

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Utah Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred 
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns 
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting 
  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred 
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written 

Hospital Requirements (may be required): 

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • Hep B3 Series or declination
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID - Full Vaccine (required)
