Description: As a full time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist , you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Pharmacy Manager about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Manager in maintaining the pharmacy.  

Schedule:  This position is scheduled to work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position will work 3-4 shifts at the Medical Plaza Pharmacy a week (shift varies between 8 hours and 10 hours) and may be cross trained to other pharmacy sites (Moss Memorial Retail, Specialty pharmacy, and inpatient pharmacies - Main campus, Oncology satellite, Women campus, Archer campus) for cross coverage of up to 3 shifts a month.  The Medical Plaza Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM.

Starting Pay: $62.00 to $75.00 an hour,  based on experience 

About the Facility: Medical Plaza Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm and is a stand alone pharmacy that is located within Lake Charles Memorial Hospital by the medical staff offices.  This pharmacy will provide services to discharged patients, hospital employees and the retail community.  CPS Solutions, LLC  has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Louisiana  
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns 
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting  
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems 
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified to administer immunizations

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th  
• COVID Vaccine
