Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem

As a per diem non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: There is not a set schedule for this position. This position works a minimum 4 hours per month, and up to a maximum of 19 hours per week; primarily covering shifts Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm or weekends from 8:00am to 2:00pm. This position mainly provides coverage for PTO and holidays as needed.
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
About the Facility: University Behavioral Health of El Paso is a 115,000 square foot private psychiatric hospital with 163 beds specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. We provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and day hospital, or outpatient, services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients. CPS® has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 6:30pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am - 2:00pm.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Texas Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
