Specialty Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager

CPS Solutions is a seeking highly motivated, customer service-oriented pharmacy professional who's ready to elevate their career to the next level. As a full time, exempt Specialty Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager, you'll join our expanding pharmacy team at Memorial Healthcare Hospital in Owosso, Michigan. This role involves leading Pharmacy Technicians & Pharmacy Liaisons to deliver exceptional patient care service and improve clinical outcomes for patients with various chronic disease states including heart disease, cancer, diabetes, respiratory disease and strokes.
Starting salary range: $154k-$157k annual salary (based upon related work experience) + bonus eligibility
Responsibilities include:
- Establish great working relationships with clinic staff, physicians, and other specialty staff in customer clinics.
- Accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your Chronic Disease Management team.
- Facilitate discussion with both leadership and clinic staff to highlight benefits of the CPS model.
- Assist the site leader with recruiting and training of on-site Pharmacy Liaisons and Pharmacists.
- Maintain all aspects of pharmacy regulatory compliance and accreditation standard.
- Comply with accreditation, legal and regulatory requirements in all activities.
Qualifications include:
- B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy. An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, M.S.) preferred
- Michigan Pharmacist license in good standing
- Prior experience as Pharmacy Manager preferred
- Strong people skills and the ability to work with teams across customers
- Proficiency in MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook Calendar
And bonus points if you have:
- Experience in a health system specialty pharmacy as an in-clinic pharmacist
- Experience working with various disease states
- Proficiency in Meditech
- Proficiency with PioneerRx

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st -April 30 th
- COVID Vaccine-Full
