Director of Rehabilitation Services

As the full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Rehabilitation at Hardin Medical Center, you will manage and direct the activities of the Department of Rehabilitation by providing daily management and oversight of Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists with both inpatient and outpatient services.  Responsibilities include the following: 

  • Ensure a high level of patient and customer satisfaction by participating in community events and developing and successfully executing a marketing program that includes outreach to other healthcare professionals, facilities, and organizations to improve the organization's brand.
  • Supervise and/or perform therapy treatments using safe and proper techniques with industry-leading equipment
  • Perform daily documentation, certification, and quality assurance tasks to keep the department organized
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and completing performance reviews for staff
  • Implement, update, and train staff on department and company policies and procedures as required
  • Establish and maintain the department budget and monitor financials which include proper patient billing, keeping current with insurance requirements and Medicare rules and regulations, utilization of staff according to patient load, and proper maintenance of department equipment and supplies.  
  • Ensure that the goals of hospital administration are understood, and projects are created and completed to meet/exceed the goals of the hospital
  • Participate in various hospital committees to ensure appropriate representation of the department

Schedule: This full time, exempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and on-call as needed.  

Starting Pay: $90K-$120K annually based on recent work experience 

About the Facility: Hardin Medical Center (HMC), located in scenic Savannah, Tennessee, has served the community since 1952 and is accredited by nationally recognized agencies such as the DNV and CMS. Savannah is a beautiful, historic community nestled along the infamous Tennessee River. This 78-bed hospital offers radiology, laboratory, cardiology, comprehensive wound care, respiratory therapy, OB/GYN, outpatient specialty clinics, and a 24-hour physician staffed emergency department. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are also available in our Rehabilitation Department. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this Rehabilitation Department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About Rehab Services: Rehabilitation department hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm and weekends per patient need.  

Required Qualifications:  

  • Graduate of an accredited College or School of Physical or Occupational Therapy (minimum of Bachelor's degree)  
  • A current Tennessee Physical or Occupational Therapist license in good standing
  • Three or more years of management experience 

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or a blood titer proving immunity 
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or a blood titer proving immunity 
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th 
  • COVID Vaccination - Full
