Description

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Knowledge in all aspects of the electronic medical record, including training and monitoring for compliance and timely follow-up

2. Dissemination of any pertinent updates to staff clinical

3. Oversee clinical schedule to ensure adequate provider support

4. Review and approve employee electronic time cards

5. Bi-monthly clinical staff meeting with action register outlining specific tasks and timeline for completion

6. Monitor and track annual and new employee physicals. Assist CA/LPN assigned to do the physicals when needed

7. Monitoring monthly Crash Cart checks including inventory, update meds, dispose of expired meds and supplies

8. Oversees the quality assurance processes for compliance with regulatory standards and facilitates prompt action when deficiencies are identified

9. Oversees medical supply inventory and ordering

10. Involved in patient education and facilitate training when needed

11. Assist in interviewing, orienting, and disciplinary process of clinical staff

12. Completing annual performance evaluation on clinical staff

13. Be knowledgeable and enforce Joint Commission standards

14. Staff training in accordance with company policies and procedures and mandatory in services. Completing annual performance evaluation on clinical staff

15. Facilitate chart audits when needed and completes quarterly peer reviews

16. Work with Management Team to meet mandates by Oswego County Health Department, NYS Department of Health, Joint Commission, Bureau of Primary Care and Health Resource and Services Administration

17. Audit abnormal pap smear report and follow-up to ensure quality patient care was rendered

18. Assist with and promote all processes associated with the Coleman initiative

19. Promoting Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives

20. Any other clinical duties and responsibilities as requested by management and administration

Requirements

Knowledge/ Education Requirements:

A. Valid NYS Registered Nurse License.

B. Experience with supervising, time management and workload, computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and electronic medical record, knowledge of supply order/purchasing, risk management, quality improvement and infection control.

C. Must be keenly aware of importance of confidentiality in all aspects.

Salary Description

$66,820.00-$78,520.00/year depending on experience
