We are looking for Emergency Department (ED) RN's to join our growing team! When you join our recently expanded ED, you will join the dynamic team that serves over 300 patients per day. Responsibilities:

The role of the clinical nurse is to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics. Delivery of patient care in the Central Valley's only Level 1 Trauma Center. Learn how to care for the all levels and ages of patients with medical concerns and injuries ranging from the common cold to heart attacks and strokes to broken bones and major trauma. All of our ED physicians are part of the UCSF Fresno Emergency Medical Service and that makes our department a place where the emphasis is on education and teaching. Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

  • Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Must have CA RN Lic. posted on the BRN.
  • Must have at least 1+years Acute Care RN Experience.
  • Current RN license for the state of California and BLS certification.
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
