About the Job

We have an opening for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to work oversee our Lane County and Multnomah County programs. The Psychiatric Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for teaching and monitoring medication administration to non-licensed caregivers and ensuring that the health needs of each client are identified, and proper care is obtained. The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will observe residents in multiple residential treatment programs to identify, interpret, and document physical and emotional status and/or patterns in response to treatment and medication. This position assists in formulating a diagnosis, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on observations. The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will provide after-hours coverage according to an on-call rotation schedule which requires being readily available for phone calls during nights and weekends.

ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time, Day). This position will be on an on-call rotation schedule and will require evening and weekend availability by phone.

What You'll Make

$7,083.33 - $8,750 per month DOE/Credentials.

Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

What You'll Need

Successful candidates MUST have:

  • An Associate's degree in Nursing. A Bachelor'sdegree in Nursing ispreferred
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Previous experience providing acute psychiatric care or outpatient community mental health treatment is highly preferred

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
