Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with physical impairments, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The PT works to alleviate pain, restore mobility, improve function, and prevent further injury through a variety of treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis:
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical condition, limitations, medical histories, and functional goals.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and specific therapeutic needs.
  • Treatment Implementation:
    • Utilize a variety of techniques, such as exercises, stretches, hands-on therapy, and equipment to relieve pain, improve mobility, and prevent further injury.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Patient Education:
    • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for managing their condition and preventing further injuries.
    • Provide guidance on healthy lifestyle changes and injury prevention.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and any changes in condition.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe treatment environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
    • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
    • Will accept Masters of Physical Therapy
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Work Environment:
  • Doctors office

Compensation Information:
$85000.0 / Annually - $85000.0 / Annually
Details:
Will have one week CME with $500 compensation, licensure paid, Monday-Friday only, 2 weeks PTO


Starting At: 85000.0 Annually
Up To: 100000.0 Annually
