BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR I OR II - $57,113/yr. (I) or $69,739/yr. (II) - Perform a variety of technical and professional assignments related to the City's Employee Benefits Programs. In a unionized environment, analyzes employee and business needs for City Benefits Programs. The Benefits Administrator II is distinguished from the Benefits Administrator I by the degree of independent judgment, broadened scope of responsibilities and complexity/sensitivity of tasks and decisions required. At the Benefits Administrator II level: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university plus three to five years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered. At the Benefits Administrator I level: Knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with a two-year associate degree, diploma or equivalent from a college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school plus one to three years of related experience.
