Immerse yourself in the core of Fleet and Facility Services as the General Supervisor, Business Operations, where you will undertake three crucial initiatives. Firstly, become the authority on structure and compliance, ensuring that every contracting requirement is fulfilled with accuracy. Next, unleash your creativity as you envision, establish, and supervise a comprehensive learning program that will mold the future of the branch. Finally, venture into the world of analytics, employing tools and statistics to craft business plans, expense and revenue models, projections, and scenario analyses. Your expertise will steer the branch forward as you track performance and deliver invaluable insights that will propel success.

What will you do?

  • Inspire and empower team members through effective mentorship, clear communication, and a commitment to advancing a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Drive innovation by focusing on the following deliverables: Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement , Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement, Learning & Training Strategy, Strategic Planning & Innovation, Assessment & Reporting 
  • Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives driven by Corporate, Department and/or Branch leadership, aligning the Branch's procurement strategy as required 
  • Provide process, analytical, and reporting expertise to the Branch for changes to existing projects and the implementation of new programs
  • In alignment with Corporate, Departmental and Branch strategies, actively participates in the development of learning strategies for the Branch 
  • Review all Service Level Agreements with all external clients to ensure a positive revenue stream is maintained
  • Provide leadership in the implementation of the occupational health, safety, wellness, and environmental programs, standards, and legislation, encouraging a culture of safety
  • Foster strong, mutually supportive relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive mutual understanding and achieve shared goals
  • Focus on team by building a respectful workplace culture through a values-based influencer approach and working collaboratively 
  • Anticipate business opportunities, influence policy, planning and initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability through performance measurement
