Description
As an Amenity Attendant, you will use your strong interpersonal and decision making skills to ensure citizens enjoy our indoor Aquatic Facilities in a safe manner. You will succeed in this position if you can perform all tasks in a respectful, inclusive and service-minded way.
What will you do?
- Greet patrons in a friendly and respectful way
- Ensure appropriate behaviour and use of all equipment, such as slides and diving boards
- Ensure the safety of all patrons using facility amenities
- Ensure patrons are obeying rules and general facility guidelines
- Assist lifeguards in crowd control and marking arms
- Assist lifeguards with opening and closing of the amenities
- Control the movement of patrons in and out of the pavilions/dressing rooms
- Clean touch points as required
- Maintain statistics and administrative tasks including timesheets
- Act as a customer service representative on site
- Assist staff in emergency response as directed
- Perform other related duties as required
