GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the general supervision of a Senior Special Assistant Parish Attorney, division head, or section chief, represents the City-Parish in all phases of civil or criminal litigation. Work may involve rendering professional legal advice to City-Parish department heads and officials. Work is performed with limited independence and is reviewed periodically through conferences. Performs other work as requested. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Juris Doctorate degree.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS
(Unless otherwise specified below, must possess at the time of appointment and must be maintained current throughout employment in this classification.) Admission to the State Bar.
