RISK STRATEGY AND TRANSFORMATION SENIOR ANALYST WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Supports Group Risk Management (GRM) in developing, managing, and communicating GRM strategy and budget. Manages GRM's services operating model (e.g. Intra-Group Agreements, function consolidation) to optimize company spend and ensure equitable allocations across organizations. Leads special project initiatives related to strategy or other priorities as assigned by the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) or SVP Risk Strategy & Transformation. What you will do

  • Work with the SVP Risk Strategy & Transformation and leadership Team in analyzing and interpreting information to support strategies and plans for growth.
  • Develop the mechanisms and reporting for planning, tracking, capacity management and maintain status of projects and programs.
  • Develop presentations for internal and external meetings that are compelling, concise, and graphical to convey performance and/or strategies.
  • Works closely with the SVP Risk Strategy & Transformation on critical initiatives and aid in evolving them such that they become business-as-usual, ultimately distributed to appropriate long-term owners.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership team to identify key strategic questions/issues, manage implementation and report findings between the SVP Risk Strategy & Transformation and project teams.
  • Support critical projects, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Lead some projects and serve as a key member on others. Establish project plans, capture status updates, and escalate obstacles to project sponsors.
  • For each new project, gain understanding of what data is needed and find best resources. Collect, organize, analyze and present data for use in executive summaries and presentations.
  • Provide formal and informal project management updates and assistance to aid in implementation.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size concurrently and keep all business stakeholders and team apprised.
  • Synthesize research into executive summaries. Create representation of data and recommendations in different formats, including layout and editing.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Must-Have*

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a project role

Skills and Knowledge

  • Superior organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • High capacity for work and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Able to learn and apply formal and informal project methodology and analytical tools
  • Proficient with basic software including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc.
  • Bias for action, initiative and follow through
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive nonpublic information
  • Independent, has high energy/enthusiasm and the ability to analyze/solve problems and identify opportunities
  • Must be able to tactfully and diplomatically resolve conflicts among stakeholders and participants in all assigned projects
Compensation Starting base salary: $78,970 - $126,140 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
