PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION MANAGER WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Performance Optimization Manager facilitates operational changes and process improvement initiatives designed to achieve significant results in the key areas of quality, cost effectiveness, and service delivery, process redesign and outcomes measurement.Works o complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Solves complex problems, takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. What you will do
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements, working collaboratively across multiple departments to identify impacted parties, business partners, and resources required
- Develop and design processes that support business needs
- Perform gap analysis between present conditions and future operations needs and identify solutions
- Provides direction and oversight to project teams to design and implement solutions that meet applicable business requirements
- Measure process improvement benefits after changes are implemented
- Partner with process owners to identify and leverage best practices to achieve maximum results to eliminate waste/ cost of poor performance and deliver sustainable and repeatable change
- Design, drive and perform operational analysis of processes
- Assist other functions in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve program and process effectiveness
- Plan, develop and coordinate training in process improvement changes
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/ workshops to drive cultural change
- Support other departments as needed and perform other duties as required by management
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of quality/process improvement work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial industry

- Uses advanced logic to make highly complex judgements with a material impact at the firm level.
- Ability to assess current state, analyze gaps between current and desired future state, and create a detailed implementation strategy to achieve future state.
- Ability to gather, arrange, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to identify enhancement opportunities and formulate conclusions and recommended actions.
- Authoritative knowledge and deep understanding of the banking industry and the competitive environment.
- Familiarity with US bank regulations, risk management and operations.
- Extensive knowledge of the practices and regulations that govern the banking industry and the implications of federal, state and local regulations.
- Superior critical thinking, problem-solving and analysis skills.
- Understanding of market segments, business models, customers and competitors; and/or proven ability to learn new markets/businesses very quickly.
- Extensive understanding of the principles and practices associated with the analysis of business operations.
- Understanding of complex compliance and risk programs for the financial services sector.
- Exceptional data-driven problem solving and creativity.
- Knowledgeable of industry issues and competitive products/services; and/or proven ability to learn new products/services quickly.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to execute on solutions within a matrixed function organization.
- Higher order analytical skills - analyze, synthesize and interpret divergent input.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
- Ability to work collaboratively across a matrixed functional organization.
