Job Requirements
• Must pass Basic Dysrhythmia exam (83%) with three attempts.
• Must be able to read and interpret strips independently.

• 2+ years experience preferred, 1 year is acceptable if candidate is comfortable and confident.
• Experience in Neuro and Cardiac preferred, but not a deal breaker.

Schedule Information
• Shifts are 12 hours, 645-645.
• Self-scheduling is allowed but subject to balance by manager.
• Block scheduling is allowed.
• 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week period.
• 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays staffing required.
• No call or standby requirement.

Unit Specific Information
• Unit: TELE.
• # Beds: 16.
• Common diagnoses include patients admitted for less than 48 hours, chest pain rule out, cath lab patients, and can take tele overflow.
• Charge nurse takes 1 patient on days and nights.
• Home regimen CPAP and BiPAP as RT/Equipment.
• Nurse Aides available on unit.

• Nurse Aide Ratios: 4.
• Scrubs Color/Dress Code: Navy. Undershirts and optional scrub jackets must be navy.
• Orientation includes half day with HR and following 2 shifts on the floor.
