Job Details
• Specialty: LDRP RN 421103510
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts & Scheduling: 7-7, block scheduling
• Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 3- 12 hour shifts
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Job Requirements
• # of L&D Beds: 4 L&D beds, 7 postpartum
• Follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: Labor: 1:1-2, PostPartum: 1:2-3
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: >35 weeks in labor, Mom/Baby couplets
• Years Experience: 2yrs experience required
• RNs required to titrate drips: Yes
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Antepartum/Labor- Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, Zofran, etc. Postpartum: Prenatal vitamin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Percocet, Toradol
• Charge Nurse on each shift: Yes
• RNs required to do anything with RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.): Neonatal vent- CPAP, Bipap, high flow

Schedule Information
• Block scheduling allowed: Yes
• Shift Details: Nights 3x12s - Every 3rd weekend, first to float
• Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Depending on availability

• Surgery manages the C section, RNs circulate for the baby

Additional Details
• Floating to MSP/ED for helping hands, mostly sitting 1:1 with patients

• Surgery is in charge of the C section, RNs just circulate for the baby.
• Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
