Job Details
• BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification, UAP; Department: OR (Tech)
• Candidates must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro OR General/Robotics
• OR - GENERAL/ROBOTICS: Peds-Geriatrics cases, Open Bellies, endo/ GI experience
• OR - ORTHO/NEURO: Total joints surgeries, sports medicine, arthroscopies, and neuro-spinal fusions

Job Requirements
• Must have 3 years of experience
• Experience with Open bellies GYN, Davinci Xi for general, Endo
• Proficiency in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics surgical cases

Schedule Information
• Rotating 8hr shifts with varying times
• Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week, 1515-0645
• Weekend/Call Requirements: Based on staffing, every 3-4 weekends, Fri 1515-Mon 0645
• Holiday/Call Requirements: Must be willing to work holidays, rotate with perm staff
• Call response time: 15 minutes with 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call

Unit Specific Information
• General/Robotics OR: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite
• Common Cases: Davinci XI for General/GYN/Urology, ION robotic cases
• Ortho/Neuro OR: Spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar cases, cranis
• Average # of cases per day: 25-30

Additional Details
• Orientation: 4-5 days on the unit, 2 buddy call shifts
• Floating Requirements: Must be able to float to different specialties or as a 1:1 sitter
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Department has a family atmosphere
• Radius Rule: 50 miles exclusion zone from CommonSpirit facilities
